Keep up to date with what’s happening in the fishing world, marine weather and tide forecasts, both local and international, with these useful websites.

Russell Radio: Russell Radio was established in 1951 by a small group of local fishermen, led by Ritchie Blomfield and his wife Olive. Since then it has continued to be run mostly by a team of local volunteers. With our member’s support we help keep boaties, their families and friends safe on the water. Our volunteers record their trip reports and respond should they need assistance. Operating on our own channels 63 and 03 we broadcast regular weather forecasts, advise of navigational hazards and supply general information and advice.
